Scope

The project involved three main objectives: Data Conversion: Transforming data from Harnware to SolidWorks and Creo for seamless integration into the client’s design environment. Library Components Development: Creating a comprehensive library of components for use in the design and manufacturing of custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies. Deliverable Formats for Testing: Supporting the client in delivering all necessary formats and documentation for new product testing.

Challenge

The key challenges in this project included: Data Integration: Ensuring accurate and complete conversion of data from Harnware to SolidWorks and Creo, which required meticulous data mapping and validation. Library Development: Developing a comprehensive and standardized library of components that met the client’s specific requirements and could be easily integrated into their design processes. Deliverable Formats: Providing all required deliverables in the appropriate formats for new product testing, which involved coordinating with multiple teams and managing various file types and standards.
