New Product Development Services
Our new product development services help OEMs and manufacturers turn product concepts into manufacturable designs, from feasibility and concept development to detailed design, DFM, prototyping, and validation.

New Product Design & Development
Bringing a new product to market requires engineering decisions that affect how well the product performs, how easily it can be manufactured, and how much it costs to produce. Addressing these factors early can help reduce rework and avoid costly design changes later in the development cycle.
Our engineers use SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor and other CAD tools to develop detailed product designs based on performance requirements, manufacturing processes, materials, and cost targets. Where required, engineering analysis and design reviews help identify potential issues before physical production.
We also prepare the engineering data needed to take the design into manufacturing, including 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOMs and material specifications.
Our New Product Development Process
We follow a structured product development process, with engineering reviews at key stages to identify potential issues early and keep the design aligned with performance, manufacturability and cost requirements. The process can be adapted to suit the product, project scope and development needs.
Turning product requirements into practical, manufacturable concepts.
We review your requirements, functional goals, operating conditions, and manufacturing needs. Multiple concepts can be explored and evaluated for:
- Performance and feasibility
- Materials and manufacturing processes
- Cost and product requirements
- Functionality and usability
Once a concept is selected, we develop and refine the initial product design.

Product Feasibility & Concept Development
Early engineering decisions can have a major impact on product cost, performance, manufacturability and development time. Our product feasibility and concept development support helps OEMs and manufacturers evaluate requirements, identify potential risks and establish a practical direction before detailed product design.
Requirements & Feasibility
Define product requirements, assess technical feasibility and consider materials, target costs and manufacturing constraints before detailed design.
Concept Development
Develop and evaluate product concepts based on functionality, performance, manufacturability and assembly requirements.
DFM, DFA & VAVE
We use DFM, DFA (Design for Assembly) and VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering) to simplify designs, make them easier to manufacture and assemble and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
New Product Introduction (NPI) Support
New Product Introduction (NPI) is the process of taking a new or redesigned product from development into production and establishing the processes needed for consistent manufacturing. We support this transition through pilot builds, production validation, engineering change management and early production support.
Pilot Builds
Validate tooling, assembly processes, manufacturability and production workflows before full-scale production.
FAI & ECO Management
Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) activities to keep drawings, BOMs, specifications and manufacturing information aligned.
Production Ramp-Up
Provide engineering support during early production to resolve design, manufacturing, and quality issues and stabilize the production process.
